A resident of Mississauga, Ontario wins $5 Million Lotto Max jackpot

Steven Bishop was one of the two jackpot winners of the May 27, 2011 Lotto Max draw. He now has the opportunity to live his dreams to the max! He matched all of the seven numbers for the $10 million jackpot together with another winner from Peterborough, Ontario.

“I can’t wait to start helping my family,” remarked Bishop as he claimed his prize at OLG Toronto Prize Centre.

Bishop currently works as computer programmer. He discovered that he won in the lottery game while he was enjoying sipping his coffee and surfing the internet at a local coffee shop.

He added: “I checked OLG.ca on my iPad and I was stunned when I saw I had matching numbers. I couldn’t say anything out loud though, because I was in a busy coffee shop and didn’t want anyone to hear. I went right to a convenience store to check my ticket on the self-scanner, to confirm!”

Bishop, 53 years old, said he is a weekly Lotto Max player. This is his biggest win to date.

“I’m going to really work on helping my family out. I’ve been pretty lucky, as a small business owner, but now I can really help the people in my life that need it!” he exclaimed joyfully. Visit Lotterycanada.com to see the latest Lotto Max results today!
